John James "Jack" Pendlebury Obituary

John James Pendlebury (Jack), 85, of Bayville, New Jersey, passed away peacefully on December 6, 2023, after a

long battle with Alzheimer's. Jack was born on July 2, 1938 in Brooklyn, New York and lived most of his life in Seaside

Park, New Jersey.

Jack worked for the Borough of Seaside Park for 38 years until his retirement when he then moved to Myrtle Beach,

South Carolina for the next 22 years with his wife, Sandra, before returning home to New Jersey to be surrounded by

his family.

Jack, an avid golfer, also enjoyed playing shuffleboard, horseshoes, and darts at the Toms River Elks Club. He was

gentle-natured, compassionate, and playfully mischievous. He had an infectious sense of humor and never missed an

opportunity to pull a prank or tell a joke. He laughed hard, loved deeply, and had steadfast love for the most important

thing to him in the world - his family.

Jack leaves behind his loving wife of 46 years, Sandra Pendlebury, 4 children, Dana Roedell, David Pendlebury, and

Jeannine Davis, and Susan Ramirez, 6 Grandchildren - Arielle Roman, Kaitlynn Roman, Emily Roman, Carley Roman,

Cody Collins, and Wyatt Plica, as well as 5 great-grandchildren - Quinn Collins, Ashtun Collins, Ryleigh Collins,

Brixton Santiago, and Athena Collado.
