Obituary of Eugene Stephen Johnson

Eugene Stephen Johnson (Gene) passed away unexpectedly from a heart attack while hunting on Saturday, December 30th, 2023 in Berkeley Township at the age of 79. Gene is survived by his loving wife of 54 years Linda Johnson, his brother Douglas (Lynn) Johnson, daughter’s Jennifer (Dennis) Ceasar, Melissa (Leland) Swoger, Bonus Daughter, Rachael (Mark) Carpenter, Grandchildren, Brandon, Dale, Jaida, Christopher, Kyle, Jude, Titus, and Silas, niece Julie (Andrew) Bowen, nephew Robert (Danielle) Johnson. He was a 25 year member of Ocean County Baptist Church. He loved being outdoors. His hobbies were hunting, fishing, reading, and cooking. The memorial service will be held at Ocean County Baptist Church located at 1380 Old Freehold Rd., Toms River, NJ 08753 on January 6,2024 at 11:00 AM. Memorial service will be streamed live on Facebook through Ocean County Baptist Church.
