Daughter, sister, aunt and friend, Jill Rosemarie Unger, 45, of Lake Hiawatha, NJ, left this world on

February 16, 2024. She was born on Halloween October 31, 1978 in Toms River, NJ, to Harold and Mary

Lou Unger. Jill graduated from Donovan Catholic High School where she was a member of the Big Blue

Singing Crew and the Thespian Society. She sang with the All Shore Chorus for two years. Jill attended

Ocean County College singing with the college chorus as well as the Garden State Philharmonic Chorus.

Jill had a passion for music, books, environmental and political causes, cooking and her cat Fletcher. A

mandolin and guitar musician, she was the harmony partner of the duo, Folk By Association, for many

years performing at coffeehouses, clubs, festivals and concert venues throughout the country, living her

dream.

Jill is survived by her loving parents and siblings, Keith, Linda, Marianne, Shannon, Kirk and Jane, as

well as fourteen nieces and nephews, five grand nieces and nephews and numerous friends. She will live

forever in our hearts.

A private memorial gathering will be held at a later date.
