Carol Ann Caruso, born on July, 3, 1942 in Newark, New Jersey, to the late Andrew and Florence Lanzara, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by family at age 81 on March 3, 2024 in Brick, New Jersey. She was a loving mother, mother-in-law, grandmother, great-grandmother, cousin, and friend to many. She is pre-deceased by her loving husband Bob Caruso of 33 years. She is survived by her loving children, Michael and his wife Jill of Toms River, Matthew and his wife Annmarie of Forked River and Christopher and his wife Kerri of Lanoka Harbor. Carol was a loving grandmother to her seven grandchildren, Jenna Babiolakis, Kayla Caputo, Michael Caputo, Nicole Caputo, Joey Caputo, Christopher Caputo, Danny Caputo and two beautiful great-grandchildren, Marina and Athena Babiolakis. Carol was an amazing cook, collector of many things, and of course, an Elvis fan. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital.
