Norman Chadwick Sr., 91, of Toms River, NJ passed away peacefully at home on March 27, 2024. Norman was born on April 15, 1932 in Jersey City, NJ. He spent the majority of his years living in Kearny, NJ before moving to Harrison, Lyndhurst, and finally Toms River. In his adult years, Norman spent his entire career of 35 years working for Public Service Electric and Gas, where he enjoyed his position as a Senior Field Supervisor for Construction and Engineering.  Outside of work, he loved playing softball and soccer as well as taking trips to Long Beach Island and Atlantic City during the summers.  While home he enjoyed spending time with neighbors, trying his luck on the lottery, and playing with his cat Chase. Norman was predeceased by his wife, Carol Chadwick; son, Norman Chadwick Jr.; siblings James Chadwick, Donald Chadwick, and Raymond Chadwick; and parents Gladys and Leo Chadwick. Norman is survived by his sister, Joan Third; son and daughter in-law, Robert and Lisa Chadwick; daughter in-law, Barbara Chadwick; Granddaughter and her husband, Nicole and Adam Roslund; Grandson, Ryan Chadwick; and two great-grandchildren, Cody and Brielle Roslund.
