Joan Elsie Dalbey (Walsack), 89 years of age, of Manchester Township, NJ, passed away on

March 9, 2024.

Joan was born in Newark NJ to Minerva and Gustav Walsack on October 13, 1934. She went to

high school at Central High School in Newark and graduated in 1952. She worked various and

many jobs during her life as a accounts manager/bookkeeper. She retired at the age of 72.

Joan loved to be with her friends and family. She enjoyed life, loved entertaining and was

always up for a good time. She loved enjoying appetizers, a good cocktail and lots of laughter.

Along with her social enjoyment she was always true to her Christian faith which she relied on

and cherished throughout her life.

Joan is survived by her two daughters Karen Dalbey of Brick NJ, Kim Ciero of San Diego, CA,

son-in-law Mike Ciero of San Diego, grandchildren Kevin (30) and Megan Ciero (26), brothers

Gus Walsack and Bob Walsack both residing in Florida, along with 3 nephews and a niece.

There will be no Funeral or Church service at this time. Per Joan’s wish she was cremated and

there will be a small Celebration of Life in San Diego, CA at a future time.
