Harry L. Tillberg III, a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend to many, passed away peacefully

on April 22nd, 2024 in Toms River, NJ at the age of 81. Born on March 11th, 1943 in Kearny, NJ he was

one of seven children to the late Harry Jr. and Lillian (Dowds) Tillberg.

Harry was a man of great integrity and unwavering kindness who touched the lives of all who knew him.

He truly had a heart of gold and was larger than life!

He leaves behind his devoted wife Urszula; sons Steven and Michael; daughters Kristen, Barbara and

Donna; grandchildren Kayla, AJ, Jackson, Vivian, Julia, Jennifer, Mark, David and Dana, as well as

countless friends and extended family members who will forever cherish their time with him.

After high school Harry enrolled in the US Navy where he served as a commanding officer. But one of

his true passions growing up was music and he often reminisced of his times playing the guitar for his

shipmates in the band he formed during his almost four years of service. After returning home he

briefly served as a motorcycle police officer in his hometown of Kearny. This is when he met his

beautiful wife and soulmate Urszula. They soon married and went on to spend an amazing 50 years

together filled with love.

One of his greatest accomplishments and his true calling was the family t-shirt business they created

where he ultimately became known as “T-Shirt Harry”. During this time he made countless friendships

along the way that he cherished up until his final days.

But of all his accomplishments and experiences the one thing he treasured most was his family. He

adored being a father to his children and being a Pop-Pop to his grandkids.

In lieu of flowers the family asks to please send a donation to Deborah Heart and Lung Center located in

Browns Mills, NJ in honor of Harry.
