Patricia "Pat" J. Batchelder, 93, of Manchester Township, NJ (formerly of Toms River, NJ) passed away May 9, 2024. Pat was born September 11, 1930 in Laconia, NH and graduated from Laconia High School in 1948. She then attended and graduated nursing school at Laconia Hospital. She married her high school sweetheart, Richard "Dick" Batchelder in September 1951. She was a faithful Navy wife, living all over the country until settling in Toms River after Dicks retirement in 1968. Pat was pre- deceased by Dick in 1997 after 45 years of marriage. She is survived by her children, Rhonda Cattley(Russell) of Pittsburgh, David Batchelder(Lynne) of Groton, CT, Mark Batchelder(Joan) of Barnegat, and Richard "Rich" Batchelder, Jr.(Dinean) of Toms River. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 13 great- grandchildren, and 2 great-great grandchildren. Her longing was to be with her Lord and Savior and she is now "home"! A memorial service will be held May 22, 2024 at 11:00 at First United Methodist Church of Toms River, 129 Chestnut St. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be sent to Missions to Military, P.O. Box 6, Norfolk, VA 23501
