Gibney, Elaine (nee Jodzio, Festino), 77, of Whiting,

formerly of Jersey City and Fords, entered into eternal rest

on Saturday, June 8th, 2024 surrounded by her family.

She was born on September 26th, 1946 to the late Steve

and May Jodzio. She was an administrative assistant at

Murjani Group before becoming a homemaker. She was

predeceased by her loving husband

Harold Gibney. She leaves behind her son Raymond

Festino, his wife Antoinette, granddaughter Gianna, who

was her pride and joy, her Pooch who was her best friend

as well as many relatives and close friends.

A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, June 29th at 9:45

am at St. Bartholomew the Apostle Church, 2032

Westfield Ave., Scotch Plains, NJ. In lieu of flowers,

memorial contributions may be made to the Popcorn Park

Animal Refuge, 1 Humane Way, Forked River, NJ, in

Elaine’s memory.
