Donald E. Krebs
July 10, 1941 – October 13, 2024
Donald Krebs, beloved husband, father, grandfather, and friend, passed away peacefully at home on
October 13, 2024, at the age of 83. Born on July 10, 1941, in New Washington, Ohio, to Victor and
Armella (nee Falter) Krebs, Donald spent the majority of his life in Toms River, New Jersey, where he was
stationed as a proud veteran of the United States Navy and where he met the love of his life, Linda (nee
Hingos) Krebs. Together, they raised four wonderful children: Matt, Garett, Greg, and Teresa.
A devoted member of the community, Donald was a member of the Elks Club, the American Legion NJ
Post 0129, and the Gifford Park Yacht Club, where he made lifelong friendships. He was also an avid
fisherman and a passionate NASCAR fan.
Donald is survived by his loving wife Linda; his children Matt, Garett (Trish), Greg (Deana), and Teresa;
and his grandchildren November, Averi, Kendall, Hailey, Sara, Kelsey, Carson, and Ella. He also leaves
behind many cherished nieces and nephews. His family meant the world to him, and he will be deeply
missed by all who knew and loved him.
He was preceded in death by his brothers, Robert (wife Dorthy), Neil (wife Claramae), and his sister
Annamarie (husband John). He is survived by his sister Susan and her husband Floyd.
In accordance with Donalds wishes, he will be cremated, and no services will be held. The family kindly
asks that, in lieu of flowers, donations be made in his memory to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
