Elizabeth Susan Lundgren, 62, passed away on October 11, 2024, in Barnegat, NJ. Born on February 25, 1962, Elizabeth, affectionately known as Sue, dedicated much of her life to caring for rescue cats, reflecting her deep compassion and kindness.

Sue pursued higher education at Penn State, which laid the groundwork for her diverse professional life, including roles in hotel and restaurant management and as a medical biller. Her career was marked by a commitment to service and excellence, impacting many along her professional journey.

Family was the cornerstone of Sue's life. She is survived by her father, Ronald Lundgren; brother, Joseph Sabara; sister, Shannon McGrath; nephew, Zachary Bryant; niece, Karaugh McGrath; and her partner, Frederick Doherty. She was preceded in death by her mother, Carol Andracki.

A celebration of Sue's life will be announced at a later date. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to a local animal shelter, honoring her passion for animal welfare. Sue's legacy of love and care for the vulnerable, both human and animal, will be cherished and remembered by all who knew her.
