Edith M. “Dee” Hogle passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 21st. Born in 1922 in Philadelphia, PA, Dee worked as an AT&T telephone operator for many years. She married Jack Hogle in 1951 and together they lived for more than 64 years in New Jersey, residing in Haddonfield and Voorhees before making their home of more than 28 years in Cape May.
Dee was an active member of the Grace Episcopal Church in Haddonfield. Over the years she was involved in her community and volunteered for many different organizations, including Meals on Wheels in Cape May alongside her husband Jack.
Predeceased by Jack, Dee is survived by many loving friends and family members, who will miss her grace, kindness and generous spirit dearly.
There will be a Celebration of Life honoring Dee at Grace Episcopal Church in Haddonfield on Saturday, March 18th at 11:00 AM. Memorial donations may be sent to the Cape May County Department of Aging - Mobile Meals, 4005 Route 9 South, Rio Grande, NJ 08242.
