Richie was my only sibling. He has been suffering for 3 to 4 years. But said nothing. Like our parents. I am forever um...scarred, that we only found out a few days before he was gone. I never got to say goodbye. My only brother. He had a most brilliant memory and was was smarter than nearly anyone. Tried to save his son, but when Joe left this earth, half of him went too. Loved to see his daughter and grandkids. Thanks much to our cousin Elvis, who took care and lived with him the last few years, and our 92 year old aunt Lucy, who did all she could. Rich would be very moved by all of his past friends who remember him so much. His sleepwalking at RU, love you all for the thoughts. So shocked I outlived him. Thank you all, know all of you. He would be honored you remember.

Rich was a fellow classmate of '73. We first met at Washington Elementary, and I remember he had a wicked sense of humor, and always had that grin. I haven't seen him since the 1970's, but I bet he was a blast to be with.
