Richard J. Czech Obituary

Richard J. Czech, age 62, passed away peacefully on Friday, June 1, 2018 at Hampton Ridge in Toms River, NJ. He was born November 7, 1955 in Kearny, NJ to Joseph and Wanda Czech. He graduated Kearny High School in 1973 and attended Rutgers University. He was member of the Rutgers Varsity Crew Team and the US National Lightweight Team. He participated in the World Rowing Lightweight Championships in 1975. He worked in the automotive industry for over 25 years. He utilized his enigmatic personality, vast experience, and intellectual aptitude as a GMC Sales Trainer for Sandy Corporation for over 10 years. Rich lived a full and adventure-filled life. He enjoyed travelling, was an avid sports fan, and loved the Grateful Dead. He is pre-deceased by his father, mother, and son Joseph Czech.  He is survived by his daughter Kate Barry (Brandon), his grandchildren Liam and Charlotte, his sister Nancy Wright (Joe), his nieces Lisa Harang (James) and Valerie Harang (Jeffry), and great-niece Mikayla Harang.
