Jean was a wonderful person. She was witty, funny, smart and REAL. You always wanted to be her Trivial Pursuit partner! Sometimes I couldn't believe the comments that came out of her mouth! I loved that about her. When I married her son Sherman, she and her Sherman welcomed me and my son, Kevin into the Taylor family with love and open arms. Kevin was calling her Nana the first day he met her. Jean and I shared a love of cats (and her son).There will be 2 empty spots at the Taylor family table now which can never be filled. Their love and presence will always be felt. I wouldn't be surprised if "Mean Jean" plays some poltergeist pranks on us. I will miss all of the good times at the Jersey shore, the legendary Memorial day parties and family get togethers. A Taylor party must go on! Jean and Sherman created an amazing family and that is their legacy, love and family. I know they are dancing and giggling and loving each other, together again in heaven. They are both sorely missed. I consider myself so fortunate to have known them both. XXOO
