Obituary of Jean D Taylor

Jean Taylor passed on February 19, 2020 at the age of 85. She was predeceased by her beloved husband Sherman Taylor in 2017, to whom she was married for 63 years. Jean was born and raised a true Jersey Girl. Originally from Tenafly then Leonia, she lived with her husband and family in Englewood, Hillsdale, River Vale and Manchester. She is survived by four children and their families: Steven Taylor, Sharon Canale, Sherman Taylor, Susan Koonce. Mrs. Taylor had ten grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Jean was high-spirited, true to her beliefs and cherished her family. Jean loved her many family summer vacations and walks on the boardwalk at the shore and the fact that she was left-handed. She will be missed by all who knew her. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriners and St. Jude Hospital. Services will be held for family and friends on February 29th, 1:00 PM, at Ocean County Cremation Service, 1252 Rt. 37 West, Toms River, NJ.
